Don't waste money on a pressure washer.

Get a garden sprayer (2 gallon).
Fill it with:
2 cups bleach
2 tablespoons dish soap
1 1/2 gallons of water.

Mix.

Spray it over the house. You can do one side of the house at a time.

Get a hose sprayer, with a jet setting. Spray it on the areas.

You may need to repeat this 2 or 3 times on areas that are REALLY dirty.
It took my dad and I to do my two story 3 bedroom house in about 3.5 hours.

If you want to rent a pressure washer it will cost you $60-$80.
Hiring someone to clean your house for you will cost about $125.

So figure out how much your time is worth.

A detergent with bleach is the best. To prevent the green stuff from coming back for a few years (providing it doesn't get constantly rained on) coat with diluted liquid car wax.

If you have not used a powerwasher before, I suggest hiring someone to do it for you, as you can dammage your house with one. It can take the paint off down to bare wood or worse.
