I guess it would depend on the type of seeds you are talking about...If we are thinking of the same thing...the females produce better buds and you cant tell from the seeds you have to wait until the plant starts producing buds, it will either have buds or it will have seeds. If you find that you have a plant that has seeds pull it up right away or it will spread and ruin your entire crop of plants. Good luck--Imma

females have the best buds but there is no way to tell just from the seeds. You will have to plant and see what you come up with

one thing no one said the flowers look different. If this is our happy friend. The male flower come first and they are what I call little pollen pockets. They hang down like you know what most males have. The female flowers are tight and grow in upright panicales

Female and I have been told the way the radicle emerges from the seed determines gender.
