My boyfriend will put a load of clothes in the washer then add liquid detergent and then turn the water on. Well, after doing this...just before putting the clothes in the dryer, there will be blue detergant spots left on the clothes and we can never get it out. I have since taught him the correct way to do laundry but i have 2 shirts i love and want to get the spots out so i can wear my favs again...any idea's or ways to help fix this?

My husband used to do this ALL the time. I have since told him the correct way to do it.... put the soap in first, let it mix, then add the laundry. To answer your question though... I have found that if I just rewash the garment that usually the soap will come out. I may have to re-wash or re-rinse a few times, but it does come out.

Re-wash the items with the blue spots unless you ahev already dried the spots into the clothes then try a good stain remover or Dye the clothes the same color Blue!

OH sheesh..... I hate that you have already dried them. That sort of bakes it in...
I would run some cold water in the washer and let them soak overnight. Then run a cycle as usual, just dont add too much more laundry soap.
It has worked in the past for me.....GOod luck

Soak them in a lot of water, then wash them again without detergent.

Soak in water overnight to loosen...then wash again.
And watch him the next time he does laundry. LOL

Take them to the dry cleaners. It's expensive but it they can get it out.
