Just curious...I need to do some hemming, but if this last..I am going to go it this way!

It's really intended as a "quick fix" for non-sewers.

Sew the hem, only way you'll know it's permanent. Thread several needles with matching thread (or light gray) and take small stitches similar to what you see of the other part of the hem. Know the ends good.

Iron-on hemming tends to come undone in the dryer/dry cleaners.

I do iron on hemming on my denim and it last for months.

A lot of it depends on the fabric, the garment, the application, and the care of the garment after application. SOmetimes dry cleaning can make a mess of the tapes, so be careful!
