The total square feet is about 30 including backsplash. The main top is a little under 9 feet. I went to Home Depot and Lowes over the weekend to look at some options and more were in the $2000 range.

I have one stand that is black (but is broken and I need 2 anyway), and it has a clear acrylic top that allows alternating colors to come through, once you pressed a button on it; to turn off/on. It is battery operated, and illuminates the hologram object inside the clear cube.

The "ceiling" is not the complete answer for this question. There is a specific guideline as to exactly "Where" on the ceiling the vent fan is placed, meaning in a very specific location, not just the ceiling in general. Can anyone help clarify this?

There's dog hair all over the carpet and rugs in the living room. Even after vacuuming, it's still there.

It bothers me because my son crawls all over the living room and plays with his toys there through out the day. So not only does he end up with dog hair on him, but his toys too.

I know a big solution would just be to keep the dog outside, but it's 1) not my house, 2) not my dog and 3) an "indoor" dog.

Any suggestions?

I got this glass on vacation, and when I unpacked it there was a slight hairline crack in the side. It didn't go all the way across the glass, as far as I can tell it is just a visual nusiance, and I want to make it disappear.

I'm re-planting for winter. I was thinking of being a bit different this year and planting in a really modern and sculptural way - I fancy just putting in a line of ornemental brassicas - purple and green. I don't know anything about them. Will they last all winter, what colours can I get - do they need special care? Any other suggestions.....?

I have a small building in a heavily wooded (and heavily populated by porcupines) area in Michigan. I plan to cover the building with felt paper this fall, but I don't think this will keep porcupines away. Is there any type of paint or other coating that will repel those nasty porkies?
