Your best bet is probably Ikea. The prices can get a little high, but the quality is supposedly worth it. You can get any kind of furniture thereIf you want something a little bit less expensive, you could try Target, in their home section. They have surprisingly good stuff, for not too much money. They don't have bigger items, like couches or beds, but you can get "accessories" like coffee and end tables, etc. Also good, but on the pricey side, is Pier One and CostPlus World Market. Good luck!

You might want to try your local thrift store. You'd be surprised at the excellent values you can get just for buying what other people have cast off...and a lot of it is premium quality. Otherwise, Pier 1 is da place, but it ain't cheap.
