If you go to a good lawn & garden center you can get granular or liquid moss killer. Both kill the moss without harming anything else. Scotts makes the granules--called Moss Control. Different companies make the liquid. Our store carries a bottle you screw onto your hose and spray--the other is a ready-to-use bottle.

You'll find killing the moss is the easy part. Keeping it from coming back is the hard part. Moss prefers 3 things: moisture, shade, and an acid soil. If you can't take away some of these factors that encourage moss you will likely keep getting it back.

I have some small areas of moss growing on the rocks around my swimming pool. I spray it with weed killer and it works. I would imagine bleach would too.
