My 3 yr old son grabbed a black pen while I was in the bathroom and wrote all over my tan leather couch, and I have no idea how to get it off! I tried goo-gone, leather cleaner, and Fabuloso, and nothing worked. HELP!!!

P.S. My sosn didn't write help..that was me, in a fit of rage, trying to draw attention to the question. HAHA!

He wrote "HELP" on the couch!? WHAT are you doing to that child?!?! Just kidding. It kinda sounded like that. Anyhow, you need an absorbent cotton cloth and a generous amount of RUBBING ALCOHOL. It will rub right out.

Try the Magic Eraser sponges. My daughter "accidentally" wrote on my car seat and it's tan leather too. I had to rub on it for awhile, but it did come off. Hope this helps!

Goof Off is good but sometimes takes some color with it...did you try soap and water? Is your couch under warranty? Did you get leather / stain protection? Good Luck...that is why I am yet to buy furniture in my new home!

Try babywipes. They worked with a pen mark on the leather seat in my car.

sorry but you sank your own ship! petrolum products destroy leather. if you hadn,t tried gasoline it would have ben possible to have dyed this couch to met the color of the ink. it,s usless now,sorry to say. ths leather will last for awhile, but that,s pretty mutch it,
