How do you rid your yard of pocket gophers??

Do you mean moles? (At least that is what we call them around here). You can try poison bait, use poison on your yard to kill off grubs (they will go looking for other food, i.e. your neighbors yard). Or yu can by commerical traps. I have two of them and both have caught and killed moles. If you have a dog (like a jack russel) they will often dig them up and remove the problem as well. My cats occasionally get one. You can also buy 'bombs' that let of smoke and kill the moles in their holes. If you find a shady spot in the yard, sit down with some ice tea and wait, you can get them with a shovel or a rifle/shotgun. The best commerical tool I have see is the rodenator, looks just too cool for words and lots of fun.

1. Get a cat.
2. Poke peanut butter coated castor beans down into their burrows. The castor beans will make the gophers sick and they will come up out of the burrows, and your cat will kill them.
3. If you see where a gopher is pushing some dirt up from a hole, sit down near that hole with a trowel, and when he comes up again, stab downward behind where you think he is. (I've gotten some this way).

Every time they ask for you for a couple of bucks or a small loan drop a penny on the floor, And tell them "I don't have the kind of money to give out because it's weighing me down." They should get it.
