I got this glass on vacation, and when I unpacked it there was a slight hairline crack in the side. It didn't go all the way across the glass, as far as I can tell it is just a visual nusiance, and I want to make it disappear.

There is something called Glass Glue ( I think )
I bought it at either a Bed Bath & Beyond or Linens & Things.
It works pretty good...It kind of seeps into the crack.

Even if in some way you manage to put a glue on it to hold it together from further cracking, you still cannot drink out of it nor wash it cause any change in heat/cold will cause it to crack further or just crack and break off.

Just throw the glass. You'll only be risking serving anyone a drink in it. The pieces from the glass could be ingested and create problems.
