How is a cob web formed? I understand it has something to do w/dust. But, what makes the "web"? Surely there isn't a "cob spider", or is there? I have yet to see a spider on a cob web! Hmmm?

We have enough reptiles and amphibians to control the insect population anyhow. Besides, they're a danger to our pets, and
they're ugly little bastards! Are there any snakes that can eat them?

The agitator does move during the wash cycle. The water drains properly, and rinse waster is added. The knob moves to indicate it is in the spin cycle. The water drains, and there is a noise like the machine is operating, however the drum does not spin. So, the clothes are still pretty wet when I move them to the dryer.

Is this something I could attempt to repair myself? If it requires a repairman, how much should I expect to pay? I'm wondering if I should just get a new washer. However, this one is only a few years old.

If anyone has any expertise or experience in dealing with this, I'd sure appreciate your advice. Thanks!

My back is so stiff I can barely move, and I was miserable all night. I am using a friend's guest room that she is very proud of, and I'd rather not tell her that the futon is so horrible I can't sleep on it. But, I can't sleep on it.

I have discovered a white mothy looking substance that Home Depot worker identified as scale, all over the stems of my hibiscus bushes..and it willl smear off, but I can't tell if it crawls or grows like a mold. I put the all purpose spray stuff they said to use, but it is coming back and moving on to the other bushes. It is causing the leaves to be stunted, short, curly, and the buds are all mal-formed as well. REally an icky thing!
Thanks to anyone in advance who has any ideas on this!
