I have a few raspberry bushes which fruited this year on straggly looking canes. Meanwhile big strong canes have grown up which did not bear fruit, rather like the wild 'stock' shoots from a rose tree. Shall I prune it all back? Also, what happens to mint when it has produced purple flower tips at the end?

Will your neighbour's teenager come to your garden all the time to pick up their ball after they throwing our garden all the times? They are always playing the ball in their driveway outside our garden and we live in the deteched house. Not only we have to suffer the noisy but also they just come into our garden like their own garden to take the ball. Our garden seems to be part of their playing area as the ball get in all the times. They never play the ball inside their garden. Before they used to come to the garden through the hole of the hedge and we stopped the hole to avoid them come straight in. But now they come straight in and without any our permmission to the garden if our gate is opened. I feel they don't have the manner to care and respect their neighbour. What will you do if you have this sitution? I am sure you don't want someone come to our property all the times. They seem to be ignore us and enjoy themselve. Next time I see them, will say "get out please"

I look at the locks, and I don't see any screws or anything else that would allow me to remove the existing locks.

I often use the ridiculously long heavy duty cycle when I wash my mattress cover and sheets in an extra long cycle. Is this really necessary, or will the regular cycle take care of germs, etc.?

I usually wash them every two weeks. I use bleach on the mattress cover, but not on the sheets.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I need to increase the efficiency of my wash days if possible. Thanks!

i felt sad for the bird but after a lot of consideration fo the bird i thought maybe it would be wise to take it off since i thought maybe it could be dangerous so i took it off. Actually even snakes can't come in coz we live in the 1st floor. Then again now it has built the nest again and has even hatched eggs. but when i just peep it immediately flys away. looks like they are going to be born soon. but what do i do. there are a few trees near our house but why does it come to my house? and should i let it grow in my balcony?

My condo assoc. had an exterminator come out and get rid of the nest that was near the window, and they also said they would have someone check and caulk around the windows where the bees are getting in...but that didn't seem to work because I am still getting 2-4 bees in my house per day. Any suggestions? Should I have a window company come out and pull out the windows and insulate and seal them back up? HELP!!!
