i felt sad for the bird but after a lot of consideration fo the bird i thought maybe it would be wise to take it off since i thought maybe it could be dangerous so i took it off. Actually even snakes can't come in coz we live in the 1st floor. Then again now it has built the nest again and has even hatched eggs. but when i just peep it immediately flys away. looks like they are going to be born soon. but what do i do. there are a few trees near our house but why does it come to my house? and should i let it grow in my balcony?

I would let it stay until the babies are born and grow a bit. Once the little ones leave the nest, the mom probably will too. Don't feed it. That would only encourage it to stay.

Once the babes are gone, remove the nest.

we have barn swallows that do this, and not matter how many times you knock the nest down.. they just come back.... I just stay on top of it and keep getting them down..... they always try at my front door above the light fixture, not what i want on my front porch at all.

I am sure people will find this terribly mean, but i do it so they dont have time to lay eggs.. now that you have that problem... i dont know what to suggest.

I have many pets, we have a farm and am a pet lover...... but with acres and acres of trees that they choose not to use... I will not allow them to make a mess of my porch =)

It's probably a barn swallow if it is built of mud. If it looks sort of like a rats nest it's a house wren. I would leave it alone since it has raised young. If you touch it or try to move it the parents will abandon it.
