There are wooded areas out back, but the people are not so friendly, and PLEASE NO SARCASTIC COMMENTS, mature adults for this one, PLEASE. Thanx. I have been here for almost 20 years and have seen alot of changes. Not for the better. What would you do? I already know in my heart what to do, was wondering what kinds of answers I could get from you. Thank you for your honest opinions in advance. If you are going to say something nasty I would rather not know, thanx again.

I meant to add this charge does not include utilities. We pay for gas and electric.

For that kind of money you could be paying for your own place. I would look for a Home or Condominium in a better neighborhood. Then you would be putting your money in a investment instead of someone Else's. Good luck.

It's not an unfair price, but knowing Philly and its changes, I wouldn't move there, for half that rent,,,no offense to you. I just think the city has been in a state of decline for a long time.

Not knowing your sdituation, or your options, I'd be searching the suburbs, or even out of the state, if commuting isn't a major issue to employment. Certainly there are options, depending on what you seek, and PA in general is a nice enough state, but many areas are largely depressed, economically. I'd also stay out of NJ.

I don't know about Philly, but a friend of mine in NYC is paying $1200.00 a month...with no utilites included. and another friend is paying over $950.00 In Florida for a ONE bedroom.....
I think that rents have gotten out of control. I have a rental unit in NC and I rent it out for only $475.00 and I think that is fair for a 2 bedroom, duplex almost in the center of town....

It sounds like a reasonable price, but if the neighborhood is going south, you may not want to stick around for much longer.

Since i don't live in PA. I can't really answer that.

I pay $470 in Indiana...nice place, great people and clean.

To me $850 seems quite high..but then again, maybe most places are there..people who are unfriendly...would really bother me too.

Sounds to me like you are wanting to leave though.
