tends to get dirty easily , is it due to water on the floor which we bathe & wash our clothes ? How to keep it clean & dry so that my bathroom will not get dirty easily ?

I heard quite a pop about an hour ago in a lightning storm. That may be unrelated. Nevertheless, my sink is suddenly not draining. I poured some water down in and dingy water came right up. My disposal also didn't work. I (stupidly) put my hand down there once the disposal switch was off and felt only flat surfaces. Strangely, I couldn't feel any obvious place for the water to flow through. (The disposal blades are sealing the drain shut?) I checked the breakers and they seemed normal. I pressed the reset button. I don't hear a peep from the disposal and the disgusting water is receding very slowly. Do I have a problem with my switch, my disposal, my drain, a fuse? I'd appreciate your wisdom! Thanks.

OK, my room is a rectangular room, with the ceiling slanted then flat at the top, if that makes sense, Anways, the ceiling and two short walls are white, and the two long walls are royal blue. Also, the closet's white. All I know for sure is that I want my room more colorful, inviting and awesome! I know for sure that I'm painting vertical lime green stripes over the blue walls, but beyond that, I don't know what I want to do. I was thinking of havning the main color scheme blue, lime green and perhaps pink, but I need ideas of an awesome looking room! if you could help, thatnks...

This tree is a nut baring tree. The nuts look like cactus balls . It is not a chestnut tree. the spikes are really close togeather and very sharp.

I have a Sears and Robuck home, built in 1926. The trim and molding throughout the house is clear pine, which has either been varnished or shellacked. Over time, the people who have painted have dripped, or missed, and there is paint where there shouldn't be. I am trying to decide whether or not to try to get it off, or just paint the trim.

I've bought several different things to do "projects" around the house and there all this stuff sits collecting dust to be dealt with "someday." the insects are very small and fly all over the place. they sit on our faces and sit on our food even as we are eating it. i thought they come because of the fruits we keep on the counter top. but now they are there at all times and have started infesting the bedrooms too. i have toddlers at home. i cant use strong pesticides. any suggestions.please help.

Yesterday I had my new Kenmore refrigerator delivered. The freezer is finally cold - but not as cold as it should be. The refrigerator never did cool down. I called sears and they wanted to send a repair person in 2 weeks. I declined. I am supposed to have a brand new one delivered now in 2 days but now I'm thinking I should just return it and buy elsewhere. Suggestions?
