You are pouring a pad, not a slab. There is a difference. You need just a little less than a cubic yard. 26.4 cu. ft. to be more exact. 3'x3'x3'=1 cu. yd.
I can't help you on the price, but at least you know how much you need now.
I should add: 8'x10'=80 sq. ft. (surface area of pad)
80 sq. ft. x .33' thick (a third of a foot or 4")=26.40 cu. ft.

Depends... are you doing the excavation yourself or hiring it out? That size should be doable with a shovel, but if you hire it out the contractor's fees will depend on the type of ground you have.
Do you have access to a 3/4 ton or better pickup with a beat-up bed? You'll need 3-4" of sand/gravel mix under the concrete. That'll cost about $10 if you pick it up yourself (that's what I paid a couple years ago anyway), if you need it delivered the cost will depend on how far you are from a gravel pit.
You need too much concrete to mix by hand, but not enough for a full truck. But if you order a partial you'll still have to pay for a full. Try to find a neighbor to split a full load with. Local rates are about $250 if you run a wheelbarrow from the chute to the work site.
Heavy loads like a hot tub, or being in an earthquake-prone area, will need a rebar mesh. That shouldn't be more than $20 at Home Depot.

this is right at a yard, and in my area that would be about $95. However, you have to figure forming materials and the minor excavation involved in preparing the pad.. If you do it yourself, you could probably get by for about 200 bucks, but paying someone will most likely run about 500.

To buy one yard of concrete you have to buy three, as the concrete plants have a min. load charge.
Material alone could cost 500.00.
