My husband's passenger-side car window only rolls halfway up, and he thought he'd be clever and just temporarily duct tape the thing all the way up when it rains. Now he's finally fixed it, but it has all sorts of gummy, icky duct tape residue stuck to the window and around the top of the window where he taped it up to the top of the car. Ugh.

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Long story short: I am renting from this condo owner who has a UK washer and dryer [the brand is Creda]. Because it is from the UK, I connects to this weird power converter/splitter. The splitter is busted [the switch pops off so for now I have a piece of GUM to hold it in place]. I need to know where I could get such a power splitter so I can replace it. PLEASE HELP,I have a lot of dirty laundry sitting at home!! :(

I live in a totally brick house that was built in the mid to late 1800s. The walls are 3 bricks thick over which a concrete type substance was spread. I would like to have drywall put on the inside of some of the walls to create smooth surfaces.

Is it 50/50?
Or do they do none at all?
Or do they just clean up after themselves or pick one big thing to do (like the yard)?

Just curious about this, and how everybody feels about their current routine...

i have wallpaper on my itchen, dining room and ur walls all that match. The paper is about 17 yrs old now but at the time was very expensive. The paper is more of a paper type wallpaper than vinyl but I have a border in the middle and on the top. Can this be painted over and if so how good will this procedure be..My rooms are very large and would be months removing. I have removed paper recently from a bath that was the same co. ann it was almost impossible it came off in tiny 1-2inch pieces.

We're going through the process of remolding a home that we have just purchased. In the entrance way there is peel and stick tiles on the floor. Whoever did them is entirely brain dead. They didn't remove the heater from the wall to lay the peel and stick tiles properly. Now in some places there are gaps on 1/2 inch to an inch from the correctly laid tiles to what they have put under the heater. Any way to pull those tiles up to lay new one's of the same pattern in they're place? Any help is great. Hoping someone who had this problem before will share their ecperinces as do's and don't.

The pool guy put in a bunch of tabs two months ago into my pump. He said it would last till October. I have 11,000 gallon pool that I do a pack of shock once a week for. The pump needs reseting almost everyday as the water flow lessens. Should I put in more tabs of Clorine?
