That depends on how much water you use. Ours averages $420. a year with just two people. It doesn't matter how many bedrooms you have, it goes by total water usage.

Depends on the cost of water, how many people are living in that house, and how much water is used.
We use around 11-13,000 gallons every 2 months, for a family of 5. Our bill is around $80 every 2 months.

No offense meant, butthe number of bedrooms has absolutely nothing to do with a water bill.
The factors are, number of poeple in the house, who USE water, and for how long, or how much.
I lived in a fairly large home, and at one time there were 4 of us,,,in Central FL. The water itself,,, was included in a general bill including sewage, and never went more than $40 a month.
My children took very long showers, and we had a pool. Irrigation was via a "green line" and not billed with household use.

Depends soley on how much water is used.
My wife and I (in a three bedroom house) get charged about $17.00 a month. If we want to keep our grass alive during the summer it goes up to about $60.00 a month.

it doesn't go by the house it goes by the area you live in for instance I lived in one place that cost £157 a year and the place I'm in now it costs £325 both 3 bedroom houses unless you have a water meter then it goes off what you use

It varies from town to town. The number of bedrooms probably has nothing to do with it. The amount of water used does. He should call his town or city hall or water department and find out how much the previous owners were charged. That is public information and will at least give him a ballpark idea.
Good luck.

I've paid anywhere from $15/month to $45/month - call your county or city public works department and ask.
