The mango is native to southern Asia, especially Burma and eastern India. It spread early on to Malaya, eastern Asia and eastern Africa.

Round the part of southern Spain where I live there are trees full of mangos - it doesn't need the tropics.

Mangos are grown in Flordia. If you go to Florida you will see mango trees everywhere. Trust me im from there.
