It works great downstairs, but upstairs, which is only one room, the air blows out with the pressure of breath. We changed the filter... what else can we try before we pay someone to look at it??

living area/kitchen area is covered in laminate wood flooring (i think it is the kind that snaps together). due to some major flooding (about an inch or so of water coming out of the bathroom, over the threshhold and underneath the wood), a small part of the wood floor got water underneath. i used fans on it and a dehumidifier, but the wood has seperated in a few places and sunken down in some places....kind of like a wave.

is there any way to level the floor out without replacing the damaged pieces? i rent and i really don't want to forfeit my deposit or spend a lot replacing a floor that isn't mine.

Several years ago I knew someone who was associated with one or several coupon clubs or sources. She had shoe boxes filled with coupons, and by using those coupons at stores that double the coupons up to a certain value she would come out with carts full of groceries that she only paid a couple of dollors for. Sounds unreal I know and I wouldn't have believed it myself but I was actually with her on one of those shopping trips and she left the grocery store with two heaping carts, a register slip three feet long and the grand total of that shopping trip just $1.78!!! Just in case you think this may be a typo, it's not, her grocery total was one dollar and seventy eight cents. While I realize that times have changed and the savings oppportunities may not be as great today, I believe that there has to be a better source for coupons than the Sunday paper.

Hi All,
Really confuse on who to contact for this problem,
Recently bought a new house and ever since we moved in the house shakes about twice a week as if there was an earthquake. It feels as if something lifted the entire house and just dropped it again. I observed for last 2 weeks it happens in the morning between 10-11am about twice a week.

I am not sure whom I should contact to have this checked out, if anyone know of anything please send me an email

thanks

Looked at replacements, but the shower knobs on the new faucets aren't located in the same position. Does it matter?

My house has wood paneling in the basement (think 80's) and I was wondering if anyone knew any good ideas to improve the appearance. I'm not really thrilled about painting it but thought about maybe putting different wood over it that would have a nicer appearance. Like I said, anyone have any other ideas?

We already have the unit & ductwork, we just need someone to install it. This guy came over to do a free estimate, & said it would cost $5000 dollars to do. Is that too much?
