Hi i am not an engineer but we have a combi boiler (Glow-worm)
with a British gas contract, i have found when you top up the central heating from the filling loop if you top up to much when the water expands with the radiators on the excess will come out of the over flow pipe till it finds it`s own level.

hope this info helps, get it checked if you are not happy!

Is it a condensing boiler? if so this may be normal but get it checked out and serviced by a Corgi registered plumber.

Could be anything. Pump, pressure needs altering. Get a plumber / heating engineer to it immediately.
