Hi All,
Really confuse on who to contact for this problem,
Recently bought a new house and ever since we moved in the house shakes about twice a week as if there was an earthquake. It feels as if something lifted the entire house and just dropped it again. I observed for last 2 weeks it happens in the morning between 10-11am about twice a week.

I am not sure whom I should contact to have this checked out, if anyone know of anything please send me an email

thanks

What are you close to? Is there some construction or mining activity going on in your area. What kind of terrain is your house located on: Underground mining, underground streams, earthquake fault, on old dump site. Any neighbors having the same experience? Go to city hall, building department (where they issue building permits) and do some investigating re history & get geological information.

Do you live near a railroad or a highway? If there's nothing nearby that could be shaking the ground where your house sits, I'd contact a building inspector. Call your realtor too and see what they suggest.

Do you live near a rock quarry?? We did and every time they blasted, it shook our house. It even caused the living room to sink and I got cracks in most of my sheetrock joints.

You need to contact the railroad, and tell them to stop sending trains.

Who you gonna call?

GHOST-BUSTERS!!!

Sorry. I had to.
And plus, I don't have a clue on what's going on in your house or who to call.
