We live in an area that is dry, warm year-round, with little winter and lots of farms and vegetation. Much of our small city is slow and suburban and there are large green areas. There is no program in place right now.

I just bought a beautiful gently used wood rocker but it squeaks. What is the best oil to use for a good piece of wood furniture? I have olive oil, coconut oil, peanut oil, grapeseed oil, castor oil and mineral oil already on hand. Will any of these work without doing harm to the wood? I'd prefer a natural and inexpensive solution.

We are about to buy a house where two smokers lived for 20 years. We need suggestions. There is carpet in only three rooms. Everything else is vinyl or tile. The walls are paneled or wallboard. The ceiling is celetex or compressed fiber type of tiles.

I hired a plumber to redo the meter and pipe that's the gas run @ my house, it cost me $6000. when I call keyspan, they said he mess up the job. the plumber supposedly a licence plumber, and he should of have a permit prior to do the job. Now he's telling me he can't get a master plumbing permit until they do a abestos report. help me America.

some dumbass dumped my chlorine tablets out into the pool, i didn't realize it but my pool has started to develop a bit of algae. I won't get sick and die if I swim will I? I need a good swim, my back hurts!

My brother and good friend have been living together for 25 years. They are moving to a new condo with washers and dryers already there. They asked me if i want to buy theirs that are 10 years old. I asked them how much and they said offer me a price and I said $100.00. They said they would rather throw them away. They said they wanted $750.00 for both.
