I have some partially used containers of liquid petroleum naptha fuel (used with camping stoves). I am not sure what the proper way is to dispose of them. I am a bit reluctant to pour it down the sink or just toss them in the garbage since I dont know if that is the right way to do this.

No fixes are needed to be made to the wall, just need to more info on how to clean the walls and which techniques are best when using a roller (like painting vertically, then horizontally, etc.). And how are you supposed to break the wall into sections for painting but without being able to know where you stopped, after the project is done?

I would like to paint my bathroom but don't want to have paint fumes for days afterward. Does the low VOC paint really work well or does it still have the new paint smell?

I was thinking, if there was a shallow spot in the ocean, you could dump a whole bunch of rocks there and then cover it with sand, plant some tropical trees and then have your own island!

but, it can't be that simple. what am i missing?

what sort of practical and legal complications would arise?

The leaves on the rose bushes have holes in them. Is this natural or is there a type of bug eating the leaves? If so, what can I use to stop this problem.

While weeding today, I was pulling a tomato stalk up, and broke it at a junction between two stalks. It has split the main trunk about a half an inch. Is there any way to salvage the plant? Thanks.

i have seen branches at the base of the plant, yet no seperate root system for these "buds". is it a good idea to carefully snap 'em off and replant them, or let them sit in water? or maybe they, in time, will shoot out roots like runner plants?

just in case it'll help, here's a description of the aloe and its growing conditions....

this aloe is five years old, and has never reproduced before. it is grown in a two-gallon plastic flower pot, and weighs nigh on thirty pounds, at least. (not including the weight of the dirt and pot) it is grown on a shaded balcony with probably... four to five hours of sun every morning, and receives copious watering. it's soil is a mixture of topsoil, composted cow manure, and miscellaneous composted plant wastes from my garden.

I trimmed a substancial branch from my Rhodo, and would love to grow another as it was planted in the memory of a family member. I can't bear to throw it away. I have successfully rooted forsythia, but am unsure if it is the same process.
