get rid of bats in the gable of my house?

Sorry I'm a bat fan....their great for mosquitoes, which we know can carry many diseases. They won't harm a thing, be glad the are there. One suggestion is to buy a bat house and place it away from your home, they might find a home away from home.

I agree with the previous answerer.

If they are making a mess, get a bat house and try and get them to relocate. They are a good thing to have in your yard. (I am trying to get them myself).

PS - my local bird store told me to 'paint' the bat house with guano to get rid of the smell of humans.
