The leaves on the rose bushes have holes in them. Is this natural or is there a type of bug eating the leaves? If so, what can I use to stop this problem.

the holes in the leaves are caused by the LEAF CUTTER BEE. it is harmless to the roses but unfortunately it is alittle unsightly.

I think it's a beetle, maybe a japanese beetle, because they love roses and geraniums. Go to the gardening center and get a repellant. Above all, do not get a beetle trap. they have a bait that attracts them, and believe me, that is the last thing you want to do

It's a bug. Or it could be the leafcutter bee. Fascinating animal! They bite pieces out of rose leaves and take them to build their nests.
