They last about the same and some like on and some the other. I don't like foam because it is too hot! They tend to keep odors also.I much prefer a good extra firm mattress.

We've used foam mattresses for years and ours have lasted for 10 years. Ours are "firm," so I don't know if that makes a difference. But what you need to do, to keep them firm, is turn them every time you change your sheets. Alternate the rotation front to back one time, side to side another. This keeps them from breaking down because of having the weight in the same spot night after night.

Hi, foam is hot, it turns yellow quickly and disintegrates. Get a nice spring or air mattress.

I agree,it doesn't last long. Nothing can beat a spring mattress.
