i work in a restaurant that requires us wear oxford white shirts. I seem to have been buying new ones all the time because they get stained. I've tried bleach and stain removers, maybe I'm just not using the right one.

I need to sell my home and I have no idea how to do it. Realtors take so much comission. I have called a few investors and am waiting on a price, but if that doesn't work out I would like to sell it myself. I have been told that it is difficult and if you have any info please help. Thankyou.

I usually keep everything running, but I'm curious if it's worth suspending anything while gone, like phone, etc.. Any pros/cons you can suggest?

My house is 16 years old and kitchen floor seems to be solid. If I try to pull plywood, I have to cut plywood around cabinets. If I put tile backboard on top of it, it will raise the floor at least 1/2 inch. So I plan to put ceramic tile directly on top of plywood. Has anyone done this before?

I am having a 60" x 60" granite table top being made for my kitchen. I need to find a base that will support alot of weight but still be decorative. I do not have preference as to whether it is wood or wrought iron.

I don't know what it's called, but I have two blinds on my picture window in my living room (new house and it was left for us). Over the blinds is kind of a box valance thing that gives support for the heavy blinds. I want the blinds and the box is needed to support them.
I wanted pretty sheers or a scarf to decorate up the blinds (and box) b/c they are cream. Any ideas how to do this? I'm not sure if it would look right to put the scarf over the box valance or not. It is rather large and has a design, so it is wider than a scarf is, so you would definitely see it under the scarf. Any ideas out there? I'm not very creative. Thanks!

This year they seem much worse than I remember. They are about 1/2 inch long and a light brown color. They seem to appear mainly around dusk, and are attracted to lights (so they find their way into the house).
