I need to sell my home and I have no idea how to do it. Realtors take so much comission. I have called a few investors and am waiting on a price, but if that doesn't work out I would like to sell it myself. I have been told that it is difficult and if you have any info please help. Thankyou.

It is difficult to sell a house if you don't know what you're doing. There's A LOT of paperwork and legal issues.

Get an agent. It's worth the money. My Mom just sold her house in 48 hours!!! If you don't do it right, the new homeowners can come back and sue you for not diclosing the right information further down the road.

Also, shop around for an agent who is willing to take less. My Mom's agent took 4%. Some wanted 6%.

Clean up the property and set a reasonable asking price.
Put home for sale infront of your house and anywhere visible to see...
Put an ad in the local newspaper. ,
Distribute advertising flyers at neighborhood shopping malls and apartment complexes.
add few pictures of your house on the Internet and details..
to get an agent..check out if he/she sold many homes for a month, willing to give advices on how to sell your homes fast, good in presenting your homes on internet and ads..professionally..
yes it is difficult to sell by yourself.. too many to deal...
