Instructions always say 'don't overtighten', but how do you know when you're overtightening? Will you start to hear a little 'harmless' cracking before you actually cause a crack?

I purchased a Purple Calabash tomato plant (heirloom variety that Thomas Jefferson grew 200 years ago) and it has grown very well. It became a huge plant. However, it didn't have very many flowers and therefore very little fruit. The tomatos that did come out didn't get very big and then they fell off long before ripening. Has anyone grown one and had success? Have you grown them and failed and have some input too? I was told perhaps they weren't pollinated enough. My other tomatos did wonderfully. This one I was really looking forward to enjoying and sharing with others.

We have seen a lovely house to buy. Only problem is that it is near a road - and we can hear the traffic when we are in the garden. Is there a simple way to reduce traffic noise, e:g: sound proof fencing. Is this practical and cost effective, and easy to install? Or should we give up on this house because it is an unsolvable problem?

I need to know if it is possible to make a six sided shape equal on all sides.I am buliding something like a barrier around a plant in the ground of of wood, and we are trying to figure out how to cut the timber. What angle can we use? Or what degree do we need to use so that all sides match up and there is no sides having space in between. Please help, thank you for taking the time to read this question.

I think the grease stain came from the side of the filing cabinet. I sprayed 'Shout' on the stain and washed it with biological tablet, but the stain persists.

Help?................I'm keeping the garment damp until I find a solution.

I've labled some plastic tubs and other similar things with permanent marker. When I first did this, it would come off with comet. But now that it's been awhile, I can't seem to wash it off. Any tips?

They are the absolute pitts. Pet peeves:they insist on leaving a message on your home phone and contacting you there when you tell them you cell phone number & work number and emphasize that you work. Usually one is bounced back to the operator 3 times when calling the store. Even when one is in store.. no clerks available to help.. What bliss it would be to have Hechingers back! or any other stroe to give them some competition.. guess they feel secure in having a monopoly in Annapolis.. but I am ready to go the extra miles to Lowe's. Not sure what happened but morale of workers is not good and it affects the customer.
