3 Important things that will make big changes-

(1) Remove anything around AC. Leave open space around it
(2) Clean coil using water hose
(3) Level AC to the ground. Imbalance AC will shift the cooling agent.

I got mine done and this is what the AC guy did - it made big big diff.

There are several things you can do:
- Clean the filter
- Check the size of the A/C. If it is a small unit it may just be overworked.
- Check the piping inside, and check for any ice. Ice is an idication of low refrigerant.
- Check your house. A/C's obviously will work better with good widows and doors, and good household isulation.

Change the filter and make sure it still has coolant. Ours freezes up sometimes...all we do...is turn the air off and turn just the fan on.....it will take about 1/2 hour or so.

Clean your coils on your outside unit, they get really dirty, Home Depot sells stuff made for cleaning your coils

clean the filters -- but in this heat 95+++ degrees none are keeping up with this heat.
