We had planned to get a grill this summer and never did, so I thought it might be best to wait until the end of the season when they might be on sale. Does anyone know?

Ok I have a serious problem. When I moved into this new house I was damned with having a door in my room where you can easily unlock the door outside by using your nails or a penny, even if the door is locked inside.

I have no privacy. My parents and my sister have no respect for me and my privacy and they open the door when it's locked with a purpose.

Specially my sister, I hate the ***** and I went her out of my room and my life. Talking to them doesn't work. My sister is like a beast she doesn't behave like a normal person.

Thank God I am 19 and soon I will get out of here, but for now what can I do?

Is there any device I can buy in the hardware store that can make some pressure in the door knob inside my room not letting people outside open it.

I have Barley Straw in my pond to help keep it from being infested with Algae buildup (loom). The problem is i notice that the barley straw ironically makes my pond turn a slight green. I decided to add a tad of chlorine into the water and now it is all cleared up. Can someone tell me, does the chlorine mix damage the barley straw's effect on preventing algae from forming and i will have to replace the barley straw sooner?

I don't know what the problem is with it, if it does have a problem at all... here's what's happening-

When I received it, it was in full bloom. Shortly afterwards, the heads of the flowers began to droop, I increased the amount of water I gave it, and they perked up. Later on, it began to wilt more seriously, and I thought it was dying, but the same solution worked.

Now though, all the large flowers have wilted almost completely. Some of the stems are dry, drooping, and a little unsightly. At the same time, the majority of the stems are still green, and on some of them new flowers are beginning to bud.

What should I do, if anything? Is this normal? My neighbour has some lavendar planted out in the garden, and I noticed that the flowers on the plant outside also seem to be drooping, although not as badly as on mine?

Constructive advice is greatly appreciated.

I made the horrible mistake of planting mint in my herb garden a couple of years ago. Now I can't control its growth and only want it to be gone! I know they have incredible root systems and I've been pulling up what I can as often as I can but it still keeps popping up everywhere. Any ideas? I'm not against chemicals at this point if they'll get rid of the stuff without damaging my other herbs. Thanks all!

Most of my outdoor equipment is electrical as I do not have the strength to pull the string on mowers, blowers, edgers, etc. and I have a very large yard and only one electrical outside. Right now I have to connect five extension cords to these items to reach around the house to the many areas.

I realize I cannot do this on my own but was wondering what I might expect to pay an electrician to have it done. I live in Florida
