I always put two in and then only one comes out...they are not inside the drum...so where do they go?

They are hiding behind the washing machine pointing and laughing at you as you search for your missing socks...Just my theory anyways :-)

One sock did not like the other sock, and so the tried a separation and then a final divorce. The other sock is living in Chicago with half of a cheap pair of argyles in a run down motel. One sock just left and is lying with the sole sneaker on the side of interstate 75 in Toledo Ohio

They can end up wrapped around the outside (inside the casing) of the washing machine. This eventually will cost you a fixit call and possibly a small fire hazard. Count your socks when they go in and also when drying them and you will be a lot happier.
On the theory side of this...the loss of socks is directly proportional to the amount of wire hangers you find in your closet. You lose socks but gain those nasty wire hangers. :P

I have been trying to figure that one out for sometime now, I haven't the slightest idea where they go. Its a really good question and I would like to see if anyone can answer where do lost socks really go.

They actually work there way INTO the main washing machine
via the rubberseal / door bit!!!

I'm not sure where they go, but you can use the single sock as a dusting rag. Slide your hand in it spray it w/pledge or your cleaning solution of choice and dust away.

they go to the secret world of the socks where they can play and run about like young socks and live there life for eternity like no other sock has experianced ......... .......... or they are just stuck in your pump :-)
