i want to buy or make an aquarium with a filter built in to where you cant see anything in the tank but i am not sure on how or where you hook the stuff up or what you use

you have to have the holes drilled in the tank first, and then you can also have the overflow box installed at the same time, then everything will be concealed, you will have a little bump out on one corner but it will just look like the aquarium wall. If you get really creative and have the money you can design the filter box around your landscape so that you see nothing, but this is complex, expensive, and harder to maintain, good luck in whatever your choice.
You will also need to have some space under the tank for the sump, so the water can run into it and you can place all your filter equipment below the tank instead of on the back. Of course it all depends on your budget. If you have the cash you can run lines to another room completely separate from the tank. That's what i love about the aquarium hobby, you can do it on a small budget or you can go nuts and spend tons of cash. Enjoy!
