I was wondering which is the best to use, pads or tampons? because I use pads, but my firends use tampons. I think that tampons would be more comfortable, is that true? Because i'm on my period now, and these pads are not very comfortable.

I get constant yeast infections. 20 a year. I have been checked for diabetes (negative), I have been diagnose with yeast everytime by the doc. I swicthed my soap, pad, tampoons, detergents to allergy-free and non-scented. I changed my underwear to cotton only. I only wear loose pants. I don't take any antibiotic. I treated my boyfriend with Difflucan, I am allergic to it. We only us condoms and i am not allergic to latex. I am running out of idea's. I eat yogurt and take acidophilus tabs which are in yogurt. Nothing helps! what works I have a serious condition now cuz it won't go away. Anything work? help please.. Anything herbal or ideas please let me know thanks

the nurse took me into the exam room and told me to lay on the exam table which i did. She put on gloves and said shed be right back with a thermometer. Without any notice I felt someone pull on my thong and she jabbed a thermometer up my butt. Is this common practice? Isnt this wierd?

I know that both of these are anti-depressants but a friend of mine takes Paxil and tried Elavil for migraine prevention. (Her doctor made her try both.....She's still on the Paxil.....)

What would happen if she took the Paxil she is supposed to take and took one of the Elavils later on in the day? What side affects would it possibly cause? Can you mix the two?

OK let me see. I had a hysterectomy back in Feb. of 2005. They took everything except 1 ovary.

The past few days I have been running a fever of about 101 and have had terrible cramping in my tummy areas. I thought it was the stomach flu because some of my family had it. But I never had any throwing up or anything out the other end. Just the cramping, fever and feeling sick. Anyways.

This morning after I went pee I wiped and noticed a little bit of blood. I didn't think anything of this until I went back to go to the bathroom again and saw some "spotting" on my undies. What is the deal? If I have no parts ... then what is the blood? Is this normal?? Should I be worried??

And just to throw it in there ... I haven't had sex lately. So nothing like that could of caused it. Should I call the doctor? Is the flu thing and the blood thing somehow related????

I haven't had sex for over 2 months now and it was always protected with my ex and neither of us have any STDs. I had my period on the 13th-18th of December so im due for another soon. Lately my new bf and i have begun having oral sex but it seems the times he fingers me, later i have discharge. It is sometimes brownish red but it's not a large amount. My friends believe it may be because of inactivity and the new activitiy may be bringing out old blood. I have always had heavy periods. The last couple of months have been unbearable, the amount of blood and the pain, it's not cramps, but a different pain. Last month I bled for 22 days. I don't have a regular doctor, I don't have insurance and I go to the health department, where I see whoever is on duty that day. I am getting insurance information from my job but for the time being, if I get to bleeding too bad would they look at me like an idiot if I went to the hospital?
I use super plus tampax, how many would you say are way too many and I should go. At the moment I am having to change every 10 min. or less.

I am not pregnant, haven't been, and as a matter of fact, haven't had sex in months.

I'm in pain right now...I'm about to start my period and I already took 2 Midols one the day before and another one yesterday. I really don't like to take them a lot not unless if I am in a lot of pain since they can be bad for your liver. Is their anything else that I can do or take to lessen my pain. Please Help...I'm in pain.
