"Several studies have suggested that one cup of yogurt a day (only the kind that has acidophilus bacteria) may reduce the frequency of vaginal yeast infections. Check the label for the statement "contains live cultures" or similar text."

Some people will put some garlic directly on the problem. There are presciptions like Diflucan and Nystatin.
Avoid sugar, starches, carbohydrates, and colorings. Yeast like a warm moist environment so keep dry. Yeast cannot live in an acidic envirnment. boric acid and aci gel help with that.
http://icandme.9.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=220 yeast yeast treatments, probiotics, lot of simple self helps.
You can get the probiotic...what you get from yogurt by buying a probiotic...
http://icandme.9.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=220&view=findpost&p=846 link to names of different probiotics with how much bacteria they have.
The best way to completely cure yourself though is to follow the diet and take something orally....you may feel the infection in one place but it is likely here is yeast elsewhere as well so if you cleanse your body of the yeast you are less likely to have the infection reacur.
Hope you feel better soon. The option of monistat or a similar product exsist too as well as presciption creams but they work only in the vagina and when yeast is bad it is likely to reacur without something that cleanses the whole body.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aM93H
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Sweetie - I have been told that you should not use vinegar as it causes yeast infections! And Where did he/she get their degree from if they are suggesting that you use food products to correct your issue?
#1 - Get a new doctor
#2 - Ask new doctor for prescription to help with yeast infection
Good Luck
