I'm in pain right now...I'm about to start my period and I already took 2 Midols one the day before and another one yesterday. I really don't like to take them a lot not unless if I am in a lot of pain since they can be bad for your liver. Is their anything else that I can do or take to lessen my pain. Please Help...I'm in pain.

You probably wouldn't think this but excersize can help reduce your chances of having menstral cramps and can shorten the length of your actual menstral cycle.

Additionally, you should be doing your best to drink plenty of water just before and during your period to reduce the bloating and cramping.

Feel better!

you can piggyback ibuprofen (midol) and acetaminophen (tylenol) take the tylenol every 4 hours and the ibuprofen every 6. midol is bad for your liver when abused or used for an extended period of time. occasionally, when you're having bad cramps is perfectly fine

Motrin, hot bath, heating pad on low/medium. Also, exercise of any sorts that gets your legs moving.

Motrin is much better for your liver. More doctors prescribe it now then Tylenol, and it works better.

Try Motrin or ibuprofen 800mg {same thing} then try putting a worm compress or heating pad on the area. It worked for a friend of mine.

EXERCISE!!! It releases endorphins in your body to make you feel better and help cramps. Not a myth, it's proven. Even when you feel sick or in pain and you think you will feel worse. Trust me, it works :)
