You can always try to reverse a tubal ligation, whether you will be sucessful or not is a different issue. The problems you are having would probably not be taken care of by the procedure, though. Troubles with menstruation are due to hormonal imbalance, and are not affected by the tubal ligation. The fallopian tubes only conduct the released ova to the uterus, the hormonal cycle is driven by the ovaries themselves. You could also be experiencing pain in the scars due to adhesions,a kind of internal scarring, or you could have PID. You didn't say how old you are, but the period changes are also associated with the onset of menopause. It's not unusual to have heavier periods as the body changes in the process. All of this said, you don't have to suffer from the pain or the misery. You should visit your GYN doctor for an exam, and afterwards he/she can give you your best treatment options. In your case, it may be a hormone supplement to straighten things out is in order. If you have PID, the choice may be to have a hysterectomy. That usually cures the problem by eliminating the monthly hormonal cycle swings. But the doctor would be the best one to discuss all this with, after the full exam is done.

Yes the tubal can be reversed. Check with your GYN on the other problems and just to make sure that everything is ok.
