It's time to get a second opinion. Start with being checked again for diabetes. You want to make certain that your tests include one called an hBa1C, because that indicates your blood sugar levels over the past 3 - 4 months.

Also, unless you and your partner have both completely gotten rid of your yeast infections, you will simply be re-infecting one another.

By this time, you probably have a systemic candida infection, and that means changing a number of things AND using a system anti-fungal drug instead of a topical one. Topical anti-fungal treatments are the ones that you have likely been using, such as Monistat, Canesten, etc.

Read any book by Dr William G Crook, MD on yeast infections. They will all be greatly helpful to you.

I agree that visiting a gynecologist isn't a bad idea. But as far as something else you can do, I have a friend who also suffered from frequent yeast infections and she started using some products that are specially formulated for that area (body wash, etc.) and she told me it's really helped. You can find them at www.sweetspotlabs.com.

Sorry about all of this, but I think it's time to get a second opinion. Instead of going to a general practioner, you may want to have an gynecologist see you. Still wouldn't hurt to get tested for a sexually transmittted disease.........just to make sure. Even though your boyfriend uses condoms, he may have touched you down there with his hand. I'm just throwing another idea at you. I wish you the best of luck.
