I am a young adult and sexually active. I have noticed odor down there and a clear/yellowish discharge. What is it? I have been checked for STD and I am clear of that. What should I do?

It sounds like some sort of infection or bacterial vaginosis. You need to see your gynecologist for antibiotics.

How long since you're been checked for an STD? The doctor would have noticed that discharge. Also, have you been on any antibiotics lately? The first thing I would consider is an STD, since you are sexually active. The second thing is a yeast infection, which can be treated by over the counter medications. If you haven't been to the doctor for a while, then you may want to go back, just in case. Best of luck to you.

You didn't mention what type of odor but if you definately have an odor with the discharge your doc needs to check for a vaginal infection. Also the area is called vagina............down there could be your ankles for all anyone really knew.

It sounds like a "U. T. I" (urinary tract infection). See your gynecologist. Drink more water!!! Maybe douching will help. Especially if you have been sexually active a lot. The water is the most important thing and cranberry juice is a BIG plus!
