hi ive not been taking my pill for a month and am waiting for my next period to start to start taking it again.The thing is i started bleeding alittle but its a pinky colour and i have period pains.Should i start taking it now or wait till it gets heavyer and a normal colour.

if you are not sexually active you can wait until its over but if you are sexually active take them without delay

It'll come, give it some time. Start taking the new batch of pills the Sunday after a complete period. Don't interrupt and confuse your period with a dose of hormones that will make it stop. Let your body get all that out of its system before you start taking the hormones again.
Also - you are not protected against pregnancy for the first month. Continue to use a condom until you start pack #2! Read the material that comes with the pills...

You can begin taking it now if you recognize that your period is starting, or you can wait until you get a heavier flow. It really won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things as long as you start taking it on the first day or two of your period.
Technically you can begin taking the combination pill at any time during your cycle, although that increases the likelihood that you will spot, and you are not protected against pregnancy during the first seven days.

Start taking it immediately. Your period will then right itself. Remember that it dosn't start working as a contraceptive for two weeks usually (read the info in the packet or ask your chemist).

I think you should start taking it now but use other contraceptives until your next period (which will be in 3 weeks).

If you are worried you may be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test. If its negative than continue on the pill. If there is no possible way you could be pregnant, then continue to take them.
