Hi there!
It could be a number of things. If you're not on birth control (which I'm guessing you aren't sine you've always had an irregular period) it might be a good idea for you to talk with your gynecologist about getting on it. Birth control is great for getting your body on a regular cycle that comes the same day and time every month. It also helps to decrease the severity of cramps and of course protects against unwanted pregnancies. Aside from your body still trying to regulate itself, you might have a hormonal imbalance that is causing your body not to menstruate every month. Even though you're not bleeding, you could still be ovulating so if you're having sex make sure to use a back up form of contraception. I would suggest making an appointment with your gynecologist and having an exam done so you can find out what's going on with your body ASAP. If you let this go any longer it could turn into something serious. Hope this helps and good luck :)

Stress or starting or changing birth control could cause missed periods. I would definitely see a doctor as soon as possible. Until then try not to worry. Good luck

Depending on your age and the positivity that you are not pregnant, it could be from:
Stress
Low Thyroid that is not medicated
Lack of Estrogen due to stress
You should really see a doctor if your periods are irregular.

I like you are irregular. I have ended up going to my GYN to get a pill to start my menstration. It's not that anything is wrong it's just your body. Birth control pills can help to make you more regular. Good luck.

first off, dont worry. if theyve always been irregular, then you shouldnt worry, they'll become more regular as time go on. or it could be youre just strussed out over something and that can cause your period to be irregular. the same thing happened to me, but i didnt get mine for 6 months. dont worry about it and enjoy not having it.

You need to go get a pap smear and be checked for cervical cancer. This happened to me a long time ago, and they found stage 5 cervical cancer. I had 2 operations and to this day I have had no sign of cancer. Do it now - and do not delay.
