As soon as I can afford it, I am getting a breast reduction. I am in too much pain. My question is, how do I pick out a good, reliable surgeon? What steps do I need to take or questions do I need to ask in order to find a capable, competent and reliable surgeon?

Well i have an ovarian cyst that i have had for a few months now. Once a month it causes extreme pain that has caused 3 trips to the ER. Now i have had 3 ultrasounds and a catscan pretty much a little of everything and they have determined that it is INDEED a cyst and that it isn't cancerous. This has been going on for some time and every time i ask about doing something, anything, for it they just say well lets wait and see what happens. come back in 2-3 months and we'll check on it again. well im getting sick of it. when i bring up the question of other options they pretty much ignore me or just pass off the question. they did finally prescribe birth control to regulate it but im wondering what some of my other options would be if this doesn't work. i am sick of pain!

Ok ladies, when you are on your period, and you have to go pee, do you ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR TAMPON before you pee, or just pee with the tampon in, because as you have probably experienced, if you DON'T remove the tampon, it tends to SOAK UP the urine, potentially causing a health hazard to you if it's not removed. Seriously-Should you ALWAYS remove a tampon before urinating? Is it a danger not to? (personally- I ALWAYS DO...)

If a couple had intercourse once, using a condom(and the guy ejaculating in the condom) .. can they do it again afterwards, without a condom and without the man ejaculating inside the woman? Would that make the woman pregnant?

My neice is 20 years old and for the past 2 years, she has not gotten a period and has severe abdominal pain a lot of the time. She has gone to the ER several times because of this pain and has not gotten any answers. She had chlamidia 4 years ago and was treated, then her paps were normal until last year she had HPV and had a leep procedure done, she had a pelvic infection about 4 months ago and was treated. She had an ultrasound which did not show anything and then the pain persisted so they did a laparoscopic investigative procedure which I guess did show some endometriosis which was removed. She says it all started about 2 years ago, when she got a hormone shot 2 months in a row to get her period to start. It had stopped then because she was a cheerleader and also on a dance team and was very very skinny. After she had those hormone shots, thats when she says it really screwed up her body. Any advice? She's worried she'll never have kids:( Thanks!

I feel like I suck at being a woman because I don't know the answer to this question! I am on birth control, and the 4th week I take the green reminder pills, and am supposed to have my period sometime that week. I always start the green pills on Tuesday, and then I start my period on Friday. I take the green pills through Monday and start a new pack of pills the following Tuesday. Still with me!?!? Ok, so...I am trying to figure out at what point my period is late...is it late when I start the green pills on Tuesday? Is it late when Friday goes by and I don't start? Or do I not consider it late until it is supposed to be over? Please answer if you know...I am trying to figure out when to take a pregnancy test, and I feel really lost. Thanks!!

I've been taking china slim tea for about 7 months. I love the stuff. I lost weight taking it & now I can eat what I want, & still maintain my weight. It's all herbal, with no caffiene. The tea cleanses all toxins from your body. Plus I drink plenty of water too. My doctor said I can take it everyday, but friends have concerns. They say that when I do decide to stop taking the tea, I won't be able to go to the restroom on my own, because my body depends so much on the tea. Are they right???

About 1 month ago, I suffered a miscarriage. I had the initial bleeding then which lasted i think about 9 / 10days. A month later i thought my period would have gone back to the way they were before i was ever pregnant (which was, they lasted for 5days then stopped), but this is now 10days after my period started and its still going. Is the normal?? Please answer asap - im really starting to worry and i cant get an appointment with my doctor! thanks! kirsten x

I was recently put on Donnatol which has Phenobarbitol in it for my stomach.

Ever since I was put on it, my Ortho Novum 1/35 which I take to control my periods, doesn't seem to be working. Without birth control I have 3 periods a month.

Is there any form of Hormonal Birth Control that isn't effected by Phenobarbitol?

after having sex i have pains inside of my vagina only after trying to go for a second "round" most of the time if feels perfectly fine the first time around but the second time it hurts when he tries to put i back in. i am 100% positive that it is on the inside and i ONLY feel it when he tries to put it back in. It DOESNT hurt when i try to pee or anyother time. it hurts in the same spot everytime. i lost my virginity a little over a year ago and i have been having sex with the same person. the problem began about two or three months ago. Has anyone other ladys have or had this problem? what do you think could be wrong?

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and have been on a birth control pill for over a year to regulate my menstrual cycle & to hopefully keep the cysts small or non-existent. My insurance doesn't cover the birth control pills, and they cost around $50 a month. Are there any other meds out there to treat PCOS that my insurance might cover?
