brown discharge? is a period? Why is it so light? it looks like discharge thats brown, its just a drop, thats it. It smells different than normal discharge. like vinegerish.

Could be a yeast infection. Wait a while, if it seems to turn red, then its your period. But if it stays little like this with the smell, then see a doctor.

Yes, it could very well be.
I do not know why it's is so light. Possibly it's time to see a Doctor and have them check you out. Every person is different.

i get that a little while before and after my period. Now if your period is nowhere near coming, then it might be a problem worth looking into with your dr.

My period tends to start out as a brownish color, and it's the same color right near the end of it. Maybe your period's about to start?
