Should the first period ( 1 month after the initial bleeding of a miscarriage) be longer??

About 1 month ago, I suffered a miscarriage. I had the initial bleeding then which lasted i think about 9 / 10days. A month later i thought my period would have gone back to the way they were before i was ever pregnant (which was, they lasted for 5days then stopped), but this is now 10days after my period started and its still going. Is the normal?? Please answer asap - im really starting to worry and i cant get an appointment with my doctor! thanks! kirsten x

I also had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago, I had the period on 3rd January 2007. Try to give your body a chance to heal. Are you going for a follow up appointment at the clinic where you had ERPC or DnC ?

Perhaps anything is simply alittle out of steadiness and can also be constant simply with a few typical hormone alternative. i had two miscarry's and i did not have a pired for about a month later and then it was not back to the way it used to be like this month i was a week and a day late i just lost my last baby in sept

mine was normal quickly go see another Dr or talk to the nurse there is a large range of normal
