I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), and have been on a birth control pill for over a year to regulate my menstrual cycle & to hopefully keep the cysts small or non-existent. My insurance doesn't cover the birth control pills, and they cost around $50 a month. Are there any other meds out there to treat PCOS that my insurance might cover?

Yes, Meformin ER helps with the insulin resistance and helps to lower testosterone levels.

Over the counter USP progesterone cream can help with PCOS as well
