Never been on BC before and honestly I don't need it. Commited relationship for 8yrs and have only used a condom. But I heard that some pills have plus's to them.....any info would be great. Or warnings!

I have had my period which was lighter and longer than normal. For several days after my period I have been spotting, like I am about to start again along with pain like my ovary is swollen. Is this symtoms of a cyst?

On a scale from one to ten, ten being getting hit by a car and one getting a papercut, how badly does sex hurt for the first time. I dont want to be a virgen anymore but I am worried about the first time. (lets see how long this stays up before yahoo takes it down)

I have had breakthrough bleeding on the pill for a few days, and the doctor said it was possibly caused by stress and should go away on it's own.
She said to keep taking the pills, but if I keep taking them everyday, will that somehow prolong the bleeding or prevent it from stopping?

what in the world are they?! They're on my lower face, around my chin and on my cheek bones. They're not spots and never turn into anything. Just tiny pimples. You can't see them from far away but I can feel them and I just feel so unsightly.

I've been on the Depo shot for six months. Haven't had a period since... until last week, when I got a very light period of mostly brown blood. I don't understand why my period has come back now. I'm due for a shot next week, could it be that it's wearing off some? This has never happened before. Also, this period is hanging on for dear life... for the past two or three days I've had an extremely light flow of dark brown blood that hasn't shown any signs of stopping. I've never had this happen before. Can anyone else relate or tell me what's going on? I know that the brown blood is most likely old blood, but why is it showing up now, after 6 months of non-period bliss??

I know that douching is generally frowned upon... but I've had a very light brown flow going on three days now (I'm just coming off of a period FYI). I'd really like to have sex with my boyfriend, but the blood freaks him out. If I douche beforehand, will it help this old blood get washed away any quicker? This period is hanging on like there's no tomorrow and I'd really like to be done with it!!

For the last 2 days I have been experiencing the annoying sensation of twitching in the lower left tummy region. it is like palpatations of the tummy or muscle twitching. My home pregnancy tests have been negative the last few months and I appear to be ovulating still. No periods due to having come off depo provera injection. What could the reasons for this be?

when exactly should you take a pregnancy test for accurate results? i was researching and it says that you can wait 9-14 days after you had sex to take a test but on the package of the test it says you can take the test 5 days before your expected period. 14 days after the mishap is not 5 days or closer to my expected period. i have 2 weeks until my expected period but i took the test yesterday (the 14th day after sex) and it came out negative. is it too soon to tell or am i really not pregnant?
