Never been on BC before and honestly I don't need it. Commited relationship for 8yrs and have only used a condom. But I heard that some pills have plus's to them.....any info would be great. Or warnings!

any kind of birth control that has hormones in it has it risks, from blood clots to strokes. There's one that claims it helps you lose weight, but that is not accurate. What it does, is it simply helps you to not retain liquids, making you feel (and look) lighter than the rest. Since this is a first for you, let your ob-gyn do the recommendation.

mary..the only bc that will cause you lose weight is using your anal cavity..just kidding the pill is a hermone and could cause you to gain weight..just exciser more..or do power fycking...

Yasmin. It has a water pill in it. Instead of bloating.. you pee a lot! : )
