It depends on the person, but maybe a 4-5.

First of all, you should not have sex just because you don't want to be a virgin any more. That's not a good reason and you may be sorry about it later on. Sex should be between 2 people who love each other and are mature enough to handle the consequences of having sex such as pregnancy. Birth control isn't 100%, so make sure when you decide to have sex with someone that it is someone that will stand by you no matter what happens. Far too many girls have sex for the wrong reasons......don't be one of them.

Don't laugh, but I was 25. So, because I was ready, it barely hurt. It was a "good pain".

There's nothing wrong with being a virgin, and there's nothing wrong with not being a virgin. Just do it at the right time, with the right guy. Don't have sex just to get it over with. Most people that I know, male and female, disliked and regret their first time and wish they'd waited. And no one seems to regret not having sex with someone.

If you're really concerned about the pain, talk to your doctor. She can give you some good advice.

well, it depends on the woman and her maturity. when i lost my virginity, it burned slightly, but the other sensations actually felt better, lessoning the slight burning sensation. it did take three times (different days) to completely lose my virginity. unfortunately, the man i lost "it" to was someone i wasn't in love with, i think that being in love will mean more in the long run, so make sure he feels the same way towards you as you do towards him.

i must say don't give in to peer pressure either-that is not a good reason to give yourself to someone, nor is it a good idea simply to be "tired of being a virgin". if your worried about it hurting, that shows a sign your not quite ready for this big emotional event.

try and experiment with your own body, give yourself time before giving yourself to someone. there are ways to gain pleasure with just yourself until your really ready to give away something so sacred.

another point is that you may think your ready, however, you really should let things happen naturally-

if what i've said doesn't mean much and your going to give your virginity to someone, if you do not lubricate, your not ready emotionally.

First, why don't you want to be a virgin for anymore?? You don't mention your age, but you can't rush into something like that... Trust me, it will hurt your self-esteem more if you just do it with some random guy....Please listen to this and wait untill you find the right person. He will be carefull and it will truly be a memorable moment for the both of you....you always want to remember your first time as something special..with someone special...don't ruin it!!
Have respect for yourself, people (and guys) will respect you more that way....

I lost my virginity in 1983 but if I remember correctly I'd say a 3 or 4. But child birth to me was not at all painful while some women say it is so I think it might be different for everyone. But if you're young please wait, that is the one & only thing that you can never get back once it's gone

It could be any number depending on a number of things. Here is how to make it go easier on you. KY and not the kind that has a warming sensation ( that burns like fire) If he is not going to be a hubby any time soon please use a condom. And have him pet you and get you aroused first because if you are relaxed and aroused it will feel good more than hurt. Good Luck and hope you get what you want out of it.

For me it was just like having a little bit of cramps. And it burned a little But it is different for everyone. And I don't think that yahoo would take it down it is a question that a lot of young women have. You are not offending anyone.

I think it kinda depends on how turned on you are and in the moment you are. My first time didn't hurt all that much....probably about a 2. If you are worried that it will hurt while you are doing it, you will be more aware of the pain....but if you are just going with the flow....not so much pain.
