There is a shaving cream called "Coochy" designed especially for shaving that area. It's almost like a conditioner. It softens the hair and really super-moisturizes your skin so you don't get rashes. Try it, I love it!

For me I don't shave against the grain of my hair folicals. shaving against them causes irratation. Another thing that you can do is after shaving try putting on a aftershave. I use my boyfriends, but if you're not found of smelling like a man, they do make aftershave for women and they also make some with out an scents. Another thing you can do is make sure that your razor isn't dull. All these steps help me, but i still get the occasional razor burn and bumps every now and then.

well if your a constant shaver then you woundnt get a rash
what i will suggest to you is shave with a sentive shaver and cream
dont shave too hard thats how you break skin, and put on a light body lotion on the upper area, cause thats where it will be the most ichy.
try that and see what happens and if that dont work then dont shave the intire area off until your skin is used to it
remember, it gets really ichy when the hair sytarts to grow back
good luck

this is normal in the begining. once you get the skin used to shaving, the rashes and spots will stop. in the mean time, use shaving lotions that contain aloe vera and vitamin E, this will keep the area smooth and eliminate razor burns.
good luck!

Trim the hair real close first of all with a hair trimmer, then shave with a Norelco men's electric razor. No irritation at all.

i use a thick condition instead of shaving cream to shave down there, or i use this stuff called bikini zone that you use instead of shaving cream which helps prevent razor burn
